An educational organization seeks a creative Summer School Social Media Assistant to capture the vibrant life of summer schools. e are looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Assistant to capture and share the vibrant life of our summer schools. This role will involve creating engaging visual content for social media and supporting our private parent blog.
The post holder will report to the International Marketing Manager and will have no direct reports.
The following vacancy is available for summer 2026:
Westonbirt School & Hatherop Castle School
Dates: 05/07/26 – 02/08/26
Paid induction dates: 02/07/26 – 04/07/26 (2.5 days). (Induction period is paid at £11.77 (18-20 years old) or £14.69 (21 + years old) per hour, including holiday pay).
This role has the option to be residential if you’re not local.
It is expected you can travel to both sites to acquire content. Use of your own car, and happy to travel between sites is essential.
Weekly working hours: approximately 48.
Based primarily at Westonbirt School, with regular visits to Hatherop Castle.
6 days per week on a rota basis.
Weekly wage: £584 for 18–20-year-olds and £684 for 21 years+ (including holiday pay), plus a weekly £25 bonus for returning staff.

The post holder will undertake the following responsibilities:
Social Media Content: Capture daily life at the summer schools for Instagram and other platforms, ensuring posts reflect our values and student experience.
Photography for Parent Blog: Take and upload daily photos to the private parent blog, providing families with a window into their child’s experience.
Testimonials: Collect and record student and staff testimonials for future marketing use.
Brand Alignment: Ensure all content aligns with Wishford Education’s tone and safeguarding guidelines.
Pastoral care: All staff working at summer school are responsible for the safeguarding of children. Some ad hoc pastoral care duties, e.g. supporting with supervision, may be required.
Other duties: Support marketing initiatives and undertake any other relevant tasks as reasonably requested.
