A prominent independent school in Huddersfield seeks a Social Media & Communications Coordinator to manage their online presence and create engaging content. The school now has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Social Media & Communications Coordinator to join our fantastic team.
Please note that this vacancy is all year round (52 weeks per year)
In this role, you will play a key part in showcasing the school’s values, achievements and community through engaging communications and effective admissions support. You will manage the school’s social media presence, create compelling content, and support the development of high‑quality promotional materials across print and digital platforms. Your work will include producing newsletters, assisting with major publications, and ensuring that school information remains accurate and up to date across all directories and online listings.
A significant aspect of the role involves capturing photography and video that highlights school life, helping to bring its story to life for current and prospective families. You will also support website maintenance, ensuring that content remains fresh, relevant and aligned with the school’s brand.
Alongside marketing activity, you will contribute to the admissions process by assisting with events, email campaigns, and tours for prospective families when required. You will work closely with the Head Teacher, the Admissions Manager and the wider marketing team to ensure that families receive a warm, informative and high‑quality experience throughout their journey with the school.
Safeguarding will be central to your responsibilities, and you will adhere to all relevant policies, procedures and training requirements to ensure the wellbeing of pupils and colleagues.
Throughout the role, you will bring creativity, organisation and a commitment to representing the school with professionalism and care, contributing to its strong reputation within the community.
