A private members golf club in Scotland is seeking a full-time General Manager to oversee operations and manage member relations. The ideal candidate will have a strong service management background and a thorough understanding of the governance and operational requirements of a golf club. Responsibilities include leading the team, managing facilities, and contributing to marketing efforts. An attractive compensation package is available according to experience, with applications closing on the 27th of February 2026.
Tom Morris laid out Tain golf club within a mix of links and heathland, with panoramic views of the Dornoch Firth and the mountain backdrop of Easter Ross.
Tain is just off of the A9, 35 miles north of the city of Inverness, and nine miles south of the town of Dornoch. The cosy club house is awash with the spirit of Highland hospitality and the relaxed, friendly welcome is perfect for the many visitors making the pilgrimage to this region.
Tain is now aiming to professionalise every area of operations within the club, through the appointment of its first full time General Manager, supported by a full time administrative assistant.
