Job summary

A leading independent technology partner is seeking a proactive Desktop Support Engineer to join their dedicated team in Belfast. This site-based role requires providing high-quality desktop support and contributing to project work across multiple client locations. Ideal candidates will have experience in a banking environment, strong knowledge of Windows and macOS systems, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. Qualifications

  • Experience delivering support directly to end users face-to-face.
  • Ability to work a shift rotation based on location and support needs.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality front & back-office support.
  • Manage incident and request resolutions within SLAs.
  • Deploy and support hardware devices including desktops and laptops.

Skills

Experience in Banking environment
Windows operating system knowledge
macOS operating system knowledge
Troubleshooting hardware and software
Familiarity with Active Directory
Basic networking knowledge
Support common business applications
Ability to escalate complex issues
Flexibility for shift rotation
