Job summary

A charity supporting recovery in Buxton is seeking a Recovery Connector Practitioner to facilitate recovery-focused interventions for clients. You will support individuals in their recovery journey by helping them access needed services and participate in meaningful community activities. The role offers 37.5 hours of work per week with training opportunities to become a SMART facilitator. Ideal candidates will have excellent communication and IT skills, as well as a passion for supporting people in their recovery.

Qualifications

  • Must complete strengths-based assessments and create recovery plans.
  • Proficient in documenting client work and filling spreadsheets.
  • Passionate about supporting recovery and health improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver recovery-focused interventions to clients on your caseload.
  • Support clients to attend local recovery support services.
  • Facilitate recovery-oriented group work sessions.

Skills

Excellent communication skills
Very good IT skills
Creative ideas for recovery groups
Passion for working with people in recovery
Driving licence with access to a vehicle
