Job summary

A healthcare provider in Scotland seeks an enthusiastic engineering technician for the Oncology Physics Department. This role includes tasks such as linear accelerator maintenance, QA, and repairs. Candidates should possess an HNC/HND in Electronics and demonstrate good computing, communication, and organisational skills. Training will be provided for those lacking experience with Radiotherapy equipment. This is a Trainee post under the Annex 21 arrangement, with pay dependent on training progression.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification of HNC/HND in Electronics is required.
• Solid understanding of electronic principles.
• Experience in servicing and maintenance role or production test environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to routine duties in Oncology Physics technology section.
• Maintain linear accelerators and perform QA and repairs.
