Job summary

A leading NHS trust in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated Radiopharmacy Technician to support the aseptic manufacture of radiopharmaceuticals. This role requires the candidate to have a strong educational background in pharmaceutical sciences and significant experience in aseptic preparation and dispensing. You will work under the direction of the Production Manager to ensure high-quality service in accordance with GMP. The position offers a salary range of £31,049 - £37,796 per annum, plus a 15% High Cost Area Supplement.

Qualifications

• Experience in aseptic preparation and dispensing of radiopharmaceuticals required.
• Aseptic manufacture experience with radioactive materials is essential.
• Registered with the GPhC as a Technician.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense a range of radiopharmaceuticals following GMP.
• Perform quality control checks and maintain equipment calibration.
• Clean and disinfect safety cabinets to ensure GMP adherence.

Confident user of Microsoft Office

Excellent numeracy skills

Good communication skills

Able to work in a multi-disciplinary team

Education

BTEC in pharmaceutical sciences or NVQ level 3 in Pharmacy Services

Diploma in Nuclear Medicine

Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)

Post-graduate qualification in Radiopharmacy
