Job summary

A leading automotive firm in Gaydon is seeking an experienced Product Owner for Electrical Power Systems on an Inside IR35 contract. The role focuses on driving the delivery and integration of efficient power systems while ensuring alignment with customer expectations and technical feasibility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong engineering background and excellent communication skills, with a focus on stakeholder engagement and systems engineering principles. Qualifications

• Graduate or postgraduate in an engineering discipline required.
• Knowledge of Power Supply Systems and Electrical Architectures is essential.
• Experience in communication and stakeholder management is crucial.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop Electrical Efficiency Vision representing customer voice.
• Present concepts of Electrical Energy Management Strategies to stakeholders.
• Act as primary liaison in EEM representing the team across engineering functions.
• Track changes and assess impact on vehicle programmes and requirements.

Skills

Knowledge of Power Supply Systems and Electrical Architectures

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Knowledge of feature development and integration in automotive systems

Understanding of systems engineering principles and V‑model development processes

Education

Graduate or postgraduate in an engineering discipline
