Job summary

A veterinary clinic in the East Midlands is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to manage the front desk operations. Your role will include greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and providing information about services. The ideal candidate will have customer service experience and excellent communication skills. Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Passion for working with animals and their owners is essential.
  • Ability to work within a team and independently is a must.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail needed.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of basic computer applications like Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and their pets with a friendly and professional demeanour.
  • Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar.
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and other inquiries from clients.
  • Collect and update client information in the computer system.
  • Assist with filing and organising paperwork.
  • Process payments for services rendered and end of day banking.
