We are now looking for an Associate Finance Business Partner to join our UK+ Finance team and help drive high ‑ quality financial insight, performance and governance across the business.

About The Role

As an Associate Finance Business Partner, you will be a key member of our established Finance team - blending both statutory and management accounting expertise to deliver meaningful insights and business support. You will own end ‑ to ‑ end management accounts for your portfolio, partner closely with project and operational leaders, and guide financial decision ‑ making that supports our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and controlling monthly management and project accounts, supporting consolidation at unit level.
• Leading annual budget and quarterly forecasting cycles.
• Delivering regular project finance reviews, acting as a trusted partner to provide analysis, challenge and guidance.
• Reviewing debtors and managing financial risks across your portfolio.
• Identifying and escalating key project and operational risks and opportunities.
• Working in collaboration with the Project Operations Team and wider finance colleagues across the region and group.
• Providing clear, insightful financial analysis and commentary to senior leadership.
• Managing multiple cost centres, including approvals and performance review.
• Supporting WIP and FX reporting on a quarterly basis.
• Acting as the point of contact for financial queries within your remit.
• Delivering ad hoc reporting, presentations and business-critical analysis.
• Ensuring adherence to financial processes, systems and deadlines.
• Proactively seeking opportunities to improve how we work.

What We Are Looking For

• Strong communication skills, high attention to detail and the ability to build relationships with non ‑ financial stakeholders.
• Highly organised, able to prioritise in a fast ‑ paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Confident and proactive, comfortable taking the lead and using your initiative.
• Strong Microsoft Excel capability and the ability to manage and maintain financial systems.
• Experience operating at an equivalent level, providing technical financial information and partnering with stakeholders to support both strategic and tactical decision‑making.
• Experience working within professional services, engineering or construction sectors is advantageous.
• Experience with Agresso or Deltek Vantagepoint is helpful but not essential.
• CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified or finalist level.
