Job description
We are seeking a Finance Assistant to join our 90+ Manchester City Centre architectural practice.

Salary: £25,000 – 30,000 (subject to experience)

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a flair for financial understanding with good communication skills including team working. Knowledge of Xero is essential. Skills in financial reporting would be beneficial but are not essential as we offer a full suite of training.

Day to Day Responsibilities

  • Input into sales and purchase ledgers
  • Prepare and process monthly sales invoices from practice management system
  • Record all payments and receipts
  • Prepare remittance advice for ad-hoc payments
  • All company credit card transactions
  • Processing all company expenses
  • Admin support for business

General Responsibilities and Expectations

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
  • A high attention to detail, team working skills, and the ability to work to deadlines as and when required.

  • Responsible for familiarising yourself, and adhering to, all AEW company policies and procedures and report any breaches as required.
  • Together with your line manager, identify your own development needs, take into consideration current work activities and career goals.
  • Undertake structured and unstructured CPD activities and to ensure personal development and log the time accordingly.
