Job summary

A leading construction company in the UK is seeking an Environmental and Sustainability Advisor to support compliance with environmental policies across various sites. The successful candidate will monitor operations, assist with environmental audits, and provide guidance on sustainable practices. Ideal applicants will have a degree in an Environmental-related discipline, practitioner membership with IEMA, and relevant experience in environmental compliance. This role offers a full-time position for a fixed term of one year.

Qualifications

• Degree in an Environmental or Sustainability discipline or equivalent experience.
• Practitioner membership of IEMA or similar organization.
• 2-3 years’ experience working in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with environmental policies.
• Assist in developing Environmental and Site Waste Management Plans.
• Conduct environmental audits and provide coaching.
