Job summary

A leading facilities management company in Glasgow is seeking a skilled Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer to join their mobile technical services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a variety of air conditioning and refrigeration systems across commercial sites. Candidates should hold a City & Guilds Level 2/3 NVQ or equivalent in HVAC and have proven experience in a maintenance environment. A full UK driving licence is also required.

Qualifications

• F-Gas & ODS Regulations (Category 1 – 2079) required.
• Experience in a Maintenance or Facilities Management environment.
• Familiarity with split, VRV & VRF systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on refrigeration equipment.
• Ensure compliance with F-Gas & ODS regulations.
• Participate in emergency on-call rota for 24/7 support.

Skills

Time-served apprenticeship in Air Conditioning/Refrigeration

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Hands-on experience with air conditioning and refrigeration systems

Education

City & Guilds Level 2/3 NVQ or equivalent in HVAC, Refrigeration, or Mechanical Engineering
