Job summary

A leading facilities management company in Manchester seeks a skilled Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer to maintain and repair various cooling systems. The ideal candidate will have a Level 2/3 NVQ in HVAC and comprehensive knowledge of F-Gas regulations. Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Maintenance or Facilities Management environment.
• F-Gas & ODS Regulations (Category 1 – 2079).
• Familiarity with split, VRV & VRF systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on air conditioning systems.
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs on refrigeration equipment.
• Liaise with clients and site contacts for effective communication.

Skills

Hands-on experience with air conditioning and refrigeration systems

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Self-motivated, reliable, and solution-focused

Understanding of Health & Safety legislation

Competent in using handheld devices for reporting

Education

City & Guilds Level 2/3 NVQ or equivalent in HVAC

Time-served apprenticeship in Air Conditioning/Refrigeration

Tools
