Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Domestic Assistant to join Renaissance Care. In this role, you will help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, ensuring they feel at home and valued. We are seeking an experienced Domestic Assistant to join our team in Cowdray Club Care Home for 35 hours a week.

Within this role, we encourage candidates to build and develop meaningful relationships with residents and to include them, where possible, in daily activities that may interest them. These interactions provide great purpose for many residents and can have a positive impact on an individuals’ daily experience.

As a Domestic Assistant your role is to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in the home to ensure residents environment is clean, tidy, homely, and welcoming. This is inclusive of all personal rooms, en-suites, and all communal areas, including lounge, dining, and bathroom facilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across all areas of the home, including personal rooms, en-suites, and all communal areas (lounge, dining, and bathrooms).
• Foster respectful interactions with residents, supporting a home-like atmosphere and engaging with residents where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar domestic role or related sector preferred.
• Understanding of COSHH, HACCP, and infection control procedures.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team and independently when needed.
• Keen eye for detail and a respectful approach to maintaining residents' dignity, privacy, and confidentiality.
