Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Domestic Assistant at Renaissance Care. In this role, you will help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, ensuring they feel at home and valued. We are seeking an experienced Domestic Assistant to join our team in Riverside Care Home for 18 hours a week.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop meaningful relationships with residents, including them where possible in daily activities that may interest them.
• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in the home, ensuring residents’ environment is clean, tidy, homely, and welcoming. This includes all personal rooms, en‑suites, and all communal areas such as lounge, dining, and bathroom facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role or sector.
• Good understanding of COSHH, HACCP, and infection control procedures.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team, while feeling confident working independently when needed.
• Keenness to detail and respectful approach to maintaining residents’ dignity, privacy, and confidentiality at all times.
