Overview

Pantheon has been at the forefront of private markets investing for more than 40 years, earning a reputation for providing innovative solutions covering the full lifecycle of investments, from primary fund commitments to co-investments and secondary purchases, across private equity, real assets and private credit. Pantheon has a growing business with insurance clients globally and has recently established the Global Insurance Solutions team to help drive growth of the insurance client base globally.

The candidate will work closely with the Head of Global Insurance Solutions, the GIS team, CSG colleagues globally and the investment teams to structure new insurance solutions and provide modelling and other product specific expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Structuring and Modelling new insurance products/solutions
  • Project management of new insurance products, where required
Knowledge & Experience Required
  • 5+ years of financial services experience, ideally investment management focused.
  • Required experience:
  • Knowledge and understanding of insurance landscape and investors.
  • Knowledge of, and ability to build cashflow models for, structured insurance solutions, including alternative investment funds, SMAs, rated feeders, CFOs and other bespoke products/solutions ("GIS Products").
  • Ability to develop new products from concept to execution.
  • Understanding of rating agency methodologies for GIS Products (especially KBRA, S&P, Moody\'s and/or Fitch). Understanding of structured credit/CLO/ABS methodologies would also be helpful.
  • Understanding of insurance regulatory regimes, in particular US and Europe.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a broader team, including GIS, CSG and investment teams among others.
  • Private markets strategies, whether direct or indirect.
  • Private debt, private debt secondaries and ideally also good knowledge of public debt markets, risk factors and dynamics.
  • Legal knowledge and experience an advantage.
