As School Business Manager across The Elliot Foundation’s Billesley Primary School and Tiverton Academy, you’ll play a central role in helping both schools run smoothly, safely and effectively. Working closely with Principals and Senior Leadership Teams, you’ll lead finance, HR, estates and day-to-day operations, making sure resources are well managed and focused on what matters most: great outcomes for children.
This is a dual-site leadership role across two very different school communities: a large, vibrant three-form entry school at Billesley and a close-knit one-form entry academy at Tiverton. You’ll bring strategic oversight where needed and a hands-on approach where it counts, acting as the key operational lead on the ground.
You won’t be doing this alone. Supported by strong regional and central Trust teams who manage much of the statutory compliance and procurement, you’ll have the space to focus on leadership, problem-solving and creating environments where pupils and staff can thrive.
You’re an experienced School Business Manager or operational leader who understands how strong systems, people and processes underpin great education.
You’re confident managing budgets, HR processes and compliance, and comfortable switching between strategic planning and practical delivery across two sites. You build trusted relationships with Principals and support teams, stay calm under pressure, and take pride in making things work behind the scenes.
Above all, you share our belief in putting children first, and in creating safe, well-run schools where everyone can do their best work.
29 days annual leave, plus public holidays
Access to the Local Government Pension Scheme
A proven dual-site model with strong regional and central Trust support
Cycle and tech salary sacrifice schemes, eye care and flu jabs
The opportunity to make a meaningful difference to children and communities
