Protection Development Manager

Salary: circa £70,000 (depending on skills, and experience)

This is a great job for someone who loves helping advice firms grow and building trusted relationships. The successful candidate would be confident discussing protection and enjoys shaping clear strategies and cares about great customer outcomes while also thriving when partnering with colleagues to create joined‑up solutions.

A bit about the job

You’ll manage a panel of advice firms across London and the South East, including several major accounts. You’ll help these firms grow by providing expert protection support and building strong, long‑term relationships. You’ll work with colleagues across Aviva to share insights and deliver joined‑up propositions. You’ll also lead digital and low‑carbon engagement activity that supports Aviva’s long‑term strategy. Your work will shape better customer outcomes and drive commercial success.

Skills and experience we’re looking for

• Experience managing major accounts in the London and South East advice market.
• Strong knowledge of protection products and market trends.
• Great communication skills and confidence building trusted relationships at all levels.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to spot growth opportunities.
• R01 and R05 (or willingness to complete within 12 months).

• Starting salary circa £70,000 (depending on skills, experience, and qualifications)
