Trainee PGA Golf Professional

Hennerton Golf Club is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic first or second year Trainee PGA Golf Professional to join our professional team. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring professional to develop their career at a friendly, forward‑thinking club with outstanding practice and coaching facilities.

The Role

As a Trainee PGA Golf Professional, you will be involved in all aspects of the golf club’s day‑to‑day operations, gaining valuable experience across coaching, retail, customer service, and club administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering high standards of customer service to members, visitors, and guests
• Managing tee‑time bookings and enquiries in person, online, and over the phone
• Handling incoming phone calls and emails professionally and efficiently
• Supporting the day‑to‑day running of the professional shop
• Assisting with retail operations including merchandising, stock control, and sales
• Engaging with members to build strong relationships and enhance the club experience
• Assisting with competitions, events, and society days
• Supporting golf operations including starter duties and pace of play when required
• Maintaining a professional appearance of the pro shop and practice facilities
