Training Applicant / PGA Trainee Position at Longniddry Golf Club

We have a vacancy to join the team here at Longniddry Professional Shop for the 2026 season. Longniddry Golf Club is a busy Links Golf Course situated on Scotland’s Golf Coast, in the heart of East Lothian, 12 miles from the centre of Edinburgh.

Role will include:

• Mentored, guided, and supported by an Advanced PGA Professional.
• Working as part of a team in a busy retail facility where we aim to provide excellent customer service to all members and visitors who come to the golf club.
• Delivering high quality Golf coaching. One to one, Ladies Get in golf program/ Junior program.
• Custom fitting in our Swing Studio/range powered by Foresight GC Quad Technology.
• Tee sheet, starting, and first tee management.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy shop, cash handling, stock control.

Experience and skills:

• Either currently on or keen to start PGA diploma.
• Highly motivated and keen to learn.
• Good communicator and people skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Previous experience not essential.

Full training will be given, uniform will be provided, competitive salary and opportunities to earn additional coaching revenue. There is excellent earning potential for the successful candidate. This is a full‑time, permanent position working 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis.
