GES is currently looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our team based at the Excel in London.

Role Purpose:

You will help manage all logistical requirements, provide warehouse assistance to the production team, and ensure Covid Safe processes are followed in the warehouse.

What you will do

• Use Clarity to help plan jobs and control costs.
• Provide clear and accurate work updates on Clarity to ensure all tasks are completed as per business requirements and timelines.
• Train and develop new team members to ensure they understand their roles, including the use of Clarity.
• Ensure all departments have necessary materials to carry out their duties.
• Work closely with production to meet loading deadlines.
• Unload and load shows from the warehouse to show locations within venues.
• Prepare and pack all show requirements, labeling all stock as needed.
• Use Clarity to check that all items are loaded for each event on time.
• Work with WM on all Health and Safety requirements.
• Conduct regular Health and Safety checks on all vehicle loads, ensuring compliance with VOSA regulations.
• Assist WM in ensuring all processes are followed.
• Engage in continuous improvement by suggesting opportunities to your line manager.
• Demonstrate commitment to the company's core values.
• Participate in the company’s sustainability initiatives, supporting actions like reuse, recycle, and replenish.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety, corporate, client, and legislative standards.
• Be flexible and willing to undertake various tasks at different times and locations.
• Represent the company professionally and stay informed about industry trends.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
