Job summary

A leading investment management company based in London is seeking an Investment Strategy Director on a 12-month fixed-term contract to lead the investment process in multi-asset portfolios. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and knowledge of investment strategy and fund research. Responsibilities include overseeing investment strategy, communicating with clients, and contributing to the development of strategic investment capabilities. Qualifications include a degree and preferably CFA or similar credentials.

Responsibilities

• Formulate core multi-asset investment strategy with focus on core investment models.
• Chair the weekly Investment Strategy Group and set research agenda.
• Lead annual review process of strategic asset allocation.
• Develop and communicate investment models and strategic capabilities.
• Prepare marketing material regarding the investment strategies.
• Assist Portfolio Directors in asset management.
• Contribute to external client communications.
• Lead collaboration on asset allocation within the Schroders Group.
• Implement annual and long-term strategy for Wealth Management.
• Ensure investment team operates effectively and in accordance with procedures.

Skills

Excellent analytical skills

Strong knowledge of Excel

Good knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Eikon and Lipper

Education

Educated to degree level or equivalent

IMC, CAIA or CFA qualifications (desirable)
