An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Job Coach to support students with special educational needs. This part-time role offers a fulfilling opportunity to make a real difference in students' lives, working closely with them to develop their strengths and address areas needing support. The position requires autonomy, reliability, and a passion for nurturing young learners. With a competitive hourly rate and a range of benefits, this role promises to be both rewarding and impactful. If you are committed to making a positive change and have the necessary experience, we encourage you to apply.
We are looking to recruit a Job Coach for an immediate start.
This is a fixed-term contract running until the end of the summer term, July 2025. The contract is annualised, meaning you will be paid through the half terms, including Easter.
This is a part-time role, working 3 days per week. You will work 19.5 hours per week (equivalent to 6.5 hours per day). Your responsibilities include supporting a student who will work with two employers: 2 days at one employer and 1 day at another. The role involves travelling between employers; access to a car would be helpful but is not essential.
The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role and a passion for working with children with SEN. You should be patient and understanding, capable of nurturing the student to work to their strengths and develop areas needing support. You must be able to work autonomously in a professional manner, and be reliable and punctual, as the student depends on you.
The role of the Job Coach combines elements of an SEN teaching assistant and a learning mentor.
This is a rewarding and fulfilling role.
Your hourly rate will be £16.00, paid via PAYE.
You must have an up-to-date (on the Update Service) and clear DBS. If you do not have a DBS, we can assist with obtaining one.
