A leading NHS trust in Chertsey is seeking a full-time Ward Manager for a new inpatient mental health unit, focusing on providing excellent care and innovative treatment options. The role is part of a dedicated multi-disciplinary team aimed at improving individual care through strategic leadership and community involvement. Candidates must have a degree in Mental Health Nursing and NMC registration, along with experience in mental health settings. Band 7 - Ward Manager - Full Time - Permanent. Silverwood contains four adult inpatient wards and has opened in February 2025. Our ambition is to transform inpatient mental healthcare for our local population. The new unit will provides 64 beds all with single ensuite bedrooms, two lounges and a dedicated garden for each ward, as well as a woodland area for supervised walks. For our colleagues working here, there is access to kitchenettes, a lounge, and a dedicated garden. This role is a fantastic and exciting opportunity to be part of a newly opened service providing excellent care to our patients within a state-of-the-art facility. You will work with experienced, knowledgeable, dedicated colleagues as part of a multi-disciplinary team. We are developing new ways of working and want you to be part of the team who will provide effective assessment, treatment, and high-quality care to our patients.
