Job summary

A leading global energy company is seeking an experienced Senior Treasury Accountant to join their expanding Treasury and Trading team in London. This hands-on role involves managing hedge accounting processes and providing technical treasury accounting expertise. Candidates must be ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with strong knowledge of IAS 32 and IFRS 7/9. Advanced Excel skills and experience with Treasury Management Systems are essential. Qualifications

• Proven Treasury Accounting experience in energy, commodities, or upstream oil & gas.
• Strong knowledge of IAS 32, IFRS 7/9, and practical hedge accounting.
• Experience with SoX controls is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage hedge accounting processes and effectiveness testing for derivatives.
• Support mark-to-market valuations and debt restructuring.
• Deliver Treasury reporting including note disclosures.
• Assist with Treasury Management System implementation.
• Develop and maintain Treasury controls and standards.
