We're recruiting a qualified UK Accountant to join our ManagementAccounts team, based in Leeds. The role sits within our UK LLP financefunction, and will have primary responsibility for the preparation ofthe UK management accounts.

Our Finance team in Leeds is a large team providing centralisedsupport for all the UK offices. We take pride in providing a worldclass service to the firm's internal and external clients.
Based in Leeds and reporting to the FinancialController-International (UK LLP), the successful candidate will beresponsible for coordinating the timely production of monthlyreporting, including variance analysis, and supporting both internaland statutory consolidations. You will work closely with colleaguesacross the Management Accounts team to ensure accurate, high-qualityreporting is delivered to agreed deadlines.
You will oversee the balance sheet reconciliation and substantiationprocess, reviewing reconciliations and managing follow-ups withaccount owners as required. The role will also involve accounting forprepayments, accruals, work in progress valuation, fixed assets,creditors and reserves, working collaboratively with Finance and thewider business to ensure accurate and timely accounting.
The position will support the annual statutory audit of the UK LLPGroup, including planning activity, resolving issues and meetingagreed deadlines. You will also contribute to the UK budgetingprocess, with a particular focus on cost analysis and identifyingtrends, and will coordinate the preparation of industry surveys andNational Statistics submissions.
In addition, you will provide timely and accurate information to theTax team to support UK LLP income tax and VAT returns, advising onaccounting versus tax treatment where required. The role includesdaily reporting on key financial metrics, such as cash and fee income,as well as providing wider team support and cover in line withbusiness needs.
You will be a qualified accountant (CCAB or equivalent) withessential experience of international and multi-currency consolidationand group accounting.
You will bring a strong working knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS/IAS andCompanies House requirements, together with a confident and competentapproach to systems and technology. You will be comfortable usingMicrosoft Office, particularly Excel, and will have experience workingwith general ledger systems in a complex reporting environment.
This role requires a hands-on and flexible approach, with the abilityto adapt to changing priorities and provide support to colleagues asrequired. You will be comfortable taking ownership of your work whilecontributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
You will also be a professional and credible communicator, withstrong analytical skills and the ability to influence and engageeffectively with senior stakeholders. Well organised and resilient,you will be comfortable working to deadlines and managing competingdemands in a fast-paced setting.
