Responsibilities

Role Description

This is an internship position for a Junior Fire Safety Consultant Apprentice in a hybrid role based in Hassocks / South Coast with travel to London, with the flexibility to work from home on certain occasions. The apprentice will assist in conducting fire safety assessments, developing fire safety reports, and providing advice to clients on compliance with applicable regulations. Additional responsibilities include supporting operational procedures, conducting research, and assisting senior consultants with project planning and implementation.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of fire safety principles, construction regulations, and health and safety standards
• Strong organizational and research skills to aid in fire safety assessments and documentation
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with team members and clients
• Detail-oriented approach with problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with other relevant software tools
• Willingness to learn and work in a hybrid environment with both office-based and remote responsibilities
