Senior Radiographer – Royal Brompton Hospital – Band 6 – Permanent – Full time – 37.5 hours per week (participation in the on‑call rota). Salary £46,419 - £55,046 per annum including HCA. Closing 01/03/2026 23:59. Job ref 196-LIS10238-O.

Job Overview

An experienced radiographer is needed to join a friendly, highly skilled radiology team at Royal Brompton Hospital, a specialist centre for heart and lung disease. This rotational role covers general X‑ray, fluoroscopy, CT scanning and cardiac catheter labs. You will receive comprehensive training in CT, interventional radiology (IR) and catheter lab procedures, including cardiac CT for adults and paediatrics, cardiac catheter interventions, interventional CT and a range of IR procedures.

Main Duties
  • Work across all imaging areas – general X‑ray, fluoroscopy, CT and cardiac catheter labs.
  • Participate in out‑of‑hours service and extended days for all departments.
  • Opt into private lists if desired.
  • Take part in training and professional development to achieve full competency in cardiac catheter interventions, cardiac CT and interventional radiology.
Person Specification
Qualifications
  • HCPC Radiographers Board Registration.
  • BSc in Radiography, Diploma from the College of Radiographers or equivalent.
  • CT and/or cath lab experience.
Experience
  • Minimum 1 year post‑qualification experience.
  • CT or cath lab/IR experience.
Skills and abilities
  • High level of IT skills.
