Qualifications

• Hold a valid HCPC registration and a diploma or degree in Radiography.
• Extensive post qualification experience in MRI, CT, and X-ray is required.
• Evidence of continuous professional development is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Undertake MRI (including CMR), CT, and general x-ray activity as required.
• Act as an Operator under the IR(ME)R Radiation Regulations.
• Mentor junior staff and deputise for the Lead Radiographer.

Shifts: Between Monday and Sunday 07.30 – 20.30

Contract: Permanent

Are you an HCPC registered Radiographer, experienced in working across a variety of modalities? Are you looking to develop your career and lead a team? You will work on rotation carrying out diagnostic imaging in a range of modalities including MRI, CT and X-Ray.

Role Responsibilities

As a Senior Radiographer you will:

• Undertake MRI (including CMR) CT, and general x-ray activity as required.
• Act as an Operator under the IR(ME)R Radiation Regulations and assess the clinical justification of referrals.
• Actively participate in quality improvements and audits.
• Mentor junior staff and deputise for the Lead Radiographer as required.

Person Specification

• Hold a diploma or degree in Radiography with a valid HCPC registration.
• Have extensive post qualification experience including proficiency in MRI, CT, and X-ray.
• Have evidence of continuous professional development.
• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Hold a post graduate qualification in MRI, CT, or X-Ray.
• Have post qualification experience in CMR.
• Have experience working on GE Imaging equipment.
