The team leads the creation of compelling proposals, working across engineering, commercial, regulatory, and project delivery functions to translate our SMR capability into solutions that meet customer needs. Your work will directly influence how we engage with governments, utilities, and future international customers — shaping business growth at a pivotal time.As a **Bid/Proposals Manager**, you will be a driving force behind the high‑quality bids that support the adoption of Rolls‑Royce SMR technology. In this role, you will lead the development of compelling responses to RFIs, RFPs, and major bid submissions, ensuring we present innovative, credible, and competitive solutions. This is a key role in helping the business secure transformational programmes and accelerate our deployment across global markets.**We’ll need you to:*** Leading the production of RFIs, RFPs and full bid submissions.* Coordinating multidisciplinary inputs from engineering, commercial, legal, project management and supply chain.* Translating complex customer requirements into clear, high‑quality proposal content.* Creating bid narratives where the scope is less defined, shaping the customer value story.* Ensuring bids meet governance, quality and assurance requirements.* Supporting stakeholder engagement throughout clarifications and customer interactions.* Taking ownership of independent workstreams and proactively solving challenges as they arise.In this role, your work directly influences multi‑million to multi‑billion‑pound opportunities, helping to secure the partnerships and projects that will ultimately bring SMR technology to life.
