Your Role:

As a Care Home Assistant Practitioner with Roseberry Care, you’ll play a vital role in our care team, bridging the gap between healthcare assistants and registered nurses, providing enhanced care responsibilities while still working under the supervision of a nurse or manager.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Supporting nurses with clinical tasks such as wound care, observations, medication rounds, and care plan reviews
• Providing mentorship and guidance to care staff, ensuring high standards of care
• Liaising with GPs, healthcare professionals, and families
• Ensuring documentation is complete, accurate, and in line with best practice
• Acting as a role model for quality, safety, and compassion in care delivery

What We’re Looking For:

• Must hold a Care Home Assistant Practitioner Certificate (essential)
• Experience as a Senior Carer or similar role in a care home environment
• Confident with medication administration and clinical observations
• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or higher)
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• A genuine passion for elderly care and team development
