We’re currently looking for a friendly and customer‑focused Hire Desk Controller to join our team, based at our Haydock depot. This is a full‑time role, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Role overview

As a Hire Desk Controller, you’ll be at the heart of our operations and a key point of contact for our customers. You’ll play a vital role in delivering outstanding service by building strong relationships and coordinating the entire hire process – from taking the initial enquiry through to delivery and collection. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the depot to ensure everything runs smoothly and our customers receive the best possible experience.

Responsibilities

Your day‑to‑day role will be mainly desk‑based, working alongside teams such as stock, transport, and engineering to make sure equipment is available, orders are fulfilled efficiently, and any queries are resolved quickly and professionally.

What you’ll bring
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Previous experience in the hire industry, or in a similar sales or operational role
