Responsibilities

• Assist with general maintenance of the nursing home and grounds.
• Champion excellent maintenance of both external and internal spaces.
• Conduct timely PAT on all electrical items when required.
• Record updates using the electronic maintenance logging system.
• Complete minor maintenance jobs safely and timely.
• Support residents during their move into the nursing home.
• Conduct regular health and safety inspections.
• Execute stock-take of maintenance equipment monthly.
• Ensure safety of external hard landscaping.
• Assist with waste removal and keep areas tidy.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
• Drive company vehicle for local collections/deliveries.
• Assist housekeeping teams with carpet care.
• Ensure security and observe security procedures.
