Leisure Attendant

Fairfield House Hotel

Part-Time

We are currently seeking a Leisure Club Attendant to join the team at Fairfield House Hotel. This role is key to ensuring our leisure club members and hotel guests enjoy a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment at all times. Our leisure club features a swimming pool, gymnasium, sauna, and steam room.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Welcoming and assisting leisure club members and hotel guests in a friendly, professional manner
• Carrying out gym inductions and creating basic personal programmes
• Promoting and processing leisure club memberships, including application and standing order forms
• Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all customers at all times
• Completing opening and closing procedures for the leisure club
• Performing pool water tests every two hours and recording results accurately
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness through daily and weekly cleaning schedules
• Using initiative to complete essential cleaning during quieter periods
• Assisting other hotel departments when required

What We’re Looking For:

• A friendly, approachable personality with excellent customer service skills.
• First Aid experience.
• Plant room experience (desirable but not essential).
• A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
• Attention to detail, particularly around cleanliness and safety standards.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
