White House is a large, detached house near the village of Datchet, four miles east of Slough town centre. The home’s staff provide 24‑hour care and support for up to nine men and women of varying ages with moderate to severe learning disabilities, autism, communication difficulties and associated complex needs. Residents are encouraged to socialise and get involved, and the home has a lively, welcoming atmosphere. People take part in activities throughout the week and there are plenty of local amenities to take advantage of. The home has two vehicles for local travel, and regular leisure, recreational and educational activities in the community.
