A prominent global investment bank in Greater London is seeking a motivated Analyst/Associate to join their trading desk. The role involves managing risk for bond trading positions, supporting primary issuances, and developing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency. Candidates should have a quantitative background, a strong grasp of interest rate swaps and FX, and excellent communication skills. This position offers an opportunity to grow in a dynamic financial environment with a focus on Emerging Markets.
The desk is looking for a strong candidate (Analyst/Associate level) to join the team in a trading role with a diverse set of responsibilities and room for growth over time.
The EM SSA Trading desk is involved in the primary issuance and secondary trading of supranational bonds denominated in EM local currencies. The desk coordinates with issuers to print new deals, pitches to clients and investors globally to recycle a large inventory of bonds, and works with the other trading teams to hedge a broad portfolio of risks.
Products traded include interest rate swaps, cross currency basis swaps, FX, NDFs and government bonds across Asia, EMEA and Latam markets. The desk has experienced strong growth over the last few years and is looking to continue expanding into new areas.
The ideal candidate is motivated, driven, enthusiastic about financial markets and eager to learn. We are looking for someone who is proactive, well‑organised, a clear communicator, and able to own a range of tasks and responsibilities through to conclusion.
