We are rapidly expanding our presence in Europe and are seeking a highly motivated and intellectually curious Analyst to join our London-based team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the execution of our global Digital Assets strategy, operating at the intersection of traditional finance and cutting-edge blockchain technology.

The Digital Assets team, part of our Global Banking and Markets – Public division, holds a firmwide and cross-divisional mandate. Our core focus is to define and execute Goldman Sachs’ Digital Assets strategy across the firm, encompassing both tokenisation initiatives and cryptocurrency efforts. What You’ll Do

As a Digital Assets Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in a broad coverage mandate. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • driving exploration and implementation of traditional financial products leveraging blockchain for tokenisation, with a specific focus on enhancing collateral mobility and enabling innovative digital money solution.
  • collaborate extensively with various divisions and clients across the firm, including Global Markets, Investment Banking, and Asset & Wealth Management. You will also interact daily with industry experts, serving as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders exploring tokenisation or cryptocurrencies.

Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Product Development & Execution: Contributing to client conversations and actively assisting in the execution of various product initiatives and transactional activities, such as tokenization across diverse asset classes.
  • Regional & Global Expansion: Supporting the team with regional initiatives and expansion efforts across EMEA, APAC, and AMER, engaging with both private and public side activities.
  • Internal Navigation & Collaboration: Efficiently navigating the firm's complex structure and interacting with key internal stakeholders, including Legal, Compliance, and Government Affairs teams.
  • Market & Technology Analysis: Developing a deep understanding of various digital assets markets and underlying technologies to identify new strategies, opportunities, and potential risks.
  • Commercial Activities: Supporting capital markets activities utilizing blockchain technology, crypto‑linked trading products and content, leveraging blockchain for the firm’s collateral mobility, and exploring digital money solutions for transactions.
  • Experience: 1‑2 years of experience in financial services, ideally gained from a leading investment bank, consulting firm, corporate, or asset manager.
  • Digital Assets Interest: Demonstrated strong interest in digital assets, including cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology.
  • Intellectual Curiosity: High intellectual curiosity and an entrepreneurial mindset, with a passion for thinking outside the box.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to present complex information clearly and succinctly.
  • Attention to Detail: A high level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail is essential.
