A local education institution in Broadstairs is seeking Exam Invigilators to supervise examinations and ensure compliance with JCQ and IB regulations. The role involves managing the exam environment, reporting malpractice, and providing support for candidates' needs. Training will be provided, and hours will be agreed upon with successful candidates. This position offers flexible opportunities throughout the year during examination periods.
We are looking to add to our bank of Exam Invigilators. You will report to the Exams Officer and work as part of a team of invigilators who will ensure exams are carried out according to the JCQ and IB regulations.
Deadline for applications: Monday 23 February, 5pm. Applications will be dealt with on receipt.
Whilst the role is paid on claim, hours will be agreed with the successful candidates in advance. There will be an opportunity to work regularly during the usual examination period (ongoing until the end of June) and on a demand basis throughout the year during short intensive periods when examinations take place.
The main purpose of this role is to supervise examinations and to ensure that guidelines and regulations for the integrity and security of the examination papers and procedures are followed during examination sessions. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
