We are seeking to recruit new Examination Invigilators to join our existing team of experienced staff. Invigilators work on a \"casual\" basis during exam periods. Examinations are administered by the examinations officer with a team of approximately 10 invigilators. The key public examination period runs through May and June, and invigilators are expected to make a commitment to make themselves available throughout this time. There are additional opportunities during a two-week January mock exam period and at other times throughout the year.

Responsibilities

• Invigilate examinations on a casual basis during exam periods, as part of a team of approximately 10 invigilators.
• Be available for the key public examination period (May and June) and for additional opportunities during a two-week January mock exam period and at other times throughout the year.
• Attend morning and afternoon sessions; morning sessions start at 8.30am and afternoon sessions finish at 4.30pm (occasionally later). Applicants may work in one or both sessions.
• Receive full training provided for both experienced and new invigilators.

Qualifications / Requirements

• No formal qualifications are stated in the description; full training is provided.
• Applicants will be required to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
• Rate of pay: £12.45 per hour plus £1.51 per hour holiday pay.
