A local government body in the UK seeks two part-time Learning Support Assistants to help deliver a four-week employability program for young adults. You will support tutors and assist learners with additional needs while fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment. Ideal candidates should have experience in youth work or social care, alongside strong communication skills. This role is fixed-term for 12 months, with a flexible schedule in community settings where you’ll make a positive impact on learners' lives.
Fixed Term for 12 months, Part Time 24 hours per week:
Location: Courses run currently in Knowle and Hartcliffe, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, followed by a planning week where you are required to attend 1 x 5-hour team meeting.

We are recruiting 2 x Learning Support Assistants (LSA) to work alongside the Employability Course Tutors to support young adults (aged 17–21) taking part in our four‑week employability programme.

For permanent Bristol City Council employees, this post will be a secondment. For employees who are currently on a fixed term contract with Bristol City Council, the secondment must not extend beyond the end of the fixed term period to ensure there is a substantive post to return to. If you are currently a casual worker or a member of an employment agency (currently working with Bristol City Council) this post will be a fixed term contract.
