Job summary

A busy shopping centre in Leicester is seeking a Security Officer to assist with the smooth running and safety of the centre. You will provide visible security cover, handle enquiries, monitor CCTV, and patrol the premises. The ideal candidate must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence, demonstrate excellent customer service skills, and have the ability to manage demanding situations effectively. This full-time role involves working 44.33 hours per week on a flexible shift pattern.

Qualifications

• Experience in providing security services in a busy public environment.
• Must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
• Willingness to undertake on-site training for emergency procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with smooth running of the shopping centre and emergency situations.
• Undertake regular patrols of the Centre as instructed.
• Comply with Health & Safety Policy and all regulations.
