A leading furniture design firm located in Harrogate, UK, is seeking an Upholstery Developer to transform creative designs into production-ready technical patterns. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and ensure high-quality production through your expertise in pattern development. Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years of experience in the field, excellent attention to detail, and strong communication skills. The Upholstery Developer plays a critical role in transforming creative upholstery designs into precise, production-ready technical patterns. Working closely with the Upholstery Development Manager and cross-functional teams, this position ensures new products are accurately developed, digitised and handed over to manufacturing for efficient, high-quality production.
Reporting to the Upholstery Development Manager with time split between the NaughtOne production factory and the Head Office, this role is pivotal in introducing new upholstered designs into production. It requires close collaboration with Engineering, Product Development and Production teams to ensure seamless integration of new products into manufacturing processes.
