A leading services company in the UK seeks a Critical Cooling Project Manager with a strong technical background in refrigeration systems. You'll manage diverse cooling projects, ensure compliance with timelines, and oversee maintenance services. The position requires effective communication skills and the ability to engage with both clients and internal teams while embracing a hybrid working environment with travel across the UK. Critical Cooling Project Manager - HVAC / Data Centres
Location: UK, London and South East or Telford. Hybrid role based out of Hatfield or Telford with UK-wide travel to support delivery of critical infrastructure projects – primarily for data centres.
You’ll manage a portfolio of small, medium and large cooling projects (up to £2m) involving technologies like chillers, CRAC/CRAH units, and in-row cooling systems. You’ll also support internal teams on liquid cooling technologies and be a key partner in ensuring smooth service delivery across maintenance, breakdown, and modernisation work.
You won’t do this alone. You’ll join an established Services team with two Project Managers already in post and collaborate closely with field engineers, back-office support, and customers. You’ll be instrumental in keeping projects on track and ensuring customer satisfaction.
This role suits someone with a strong technical background in cooling systems and experience managing projects in a data centre or critical environment. We’re open to profiles with transferable project management skills from refrigeration or HVAC sectors.
