A vibrant church in Westcliff on Sea seeks a Children, Youth and Families Pastor to lead and revitalise its ministry. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, a passion for Jesus, and skills in community engagement, aiming to connect families with faith through innovative programs. Hours: Full Time
Salary Range: £25,000 - £30,000
St Andrew’s Revitalisation Project is a new initiative starting on 30th November 2025. Our goal is to renew the ministry and mission of St Andrew’s through dedicated investment of people and resources. Located in Westcliff on Sea, Essex, St Andrew’s aims to support its existing congregation of 40 adults and 10 children with a team of passionate individuals who love Jesus and people. By revitalising our ministry with prayer, gifting, and resources, we hope to expand our capacity for Christian outreach and service to the wider community.
We seek a highly motivated Children, Youth and Families Pastor with a passion for Jesus, strong leadership and communication skills, and a heart for church revitalisation. The ideal candidate will help us engage children and young people in drawing closer to God, love one another radically, and participate actively in community life. A key focus will be on reaching more families in the local area, guiding them towards faith in Jesus, and initiating new programs to foster these connections.
The role's purpose is to continue and grow a vibrant children, youth, and families ministry that impacts church members and the local community. Recognising the importance of youth and family work for church health and growth, this leadership position requires Christian maturity and strategic vision.
St Andrew’s Church is a lively worship community in Westcliff. In November 2025, we will begin a revitalisation project led by St John’s Church, Southend, marking a new season of mission and ministry.
