Job summary

A local church organization in Herne Bay is seeking a passionate individual for a youth ministry role to inspire and engage young people and families. You will develop activities in line with the church’s vision, providing mentorship and pastoral support while collaborating with other organizations. Candidates must have experience engaging with youth, motivation skills, and be a practicing Christian. The role requires approximately 25 hours per week with an annual salary of £18,200.

The Role:

You should be passionate, enthusiastic, spirit filled with a heart for Youth, children & families work. Able to use your initiative to develop & expand the youth & families work in line with the vision of the church. You will create engaging, fun teaching, activities & events for young people, offering pastoral support, mentorship, and opportunities for them to know & grow in Christ.

What We're Looking For:

• A passionate, enthusiastic individual who can motivate and inspire young people.
• Have experience in engaging with children, youth, and families, with skills in organising and leading youth-focused events.
• Capacity to deliver impactful and engaging educational material to inspire young people and encourage their spiritual growth.
• A willingness to collaborate with other churches and organisations to engage the local community.
• Must be a practicing Christian with an evangelical leaning, willing to share in our church’s vision.
• Able to work under the guidance of the Minister & Leadership Team.

Work Details:

Location: Herne Bay Baptist Church - Hours: 25 hours per week - Annual Salary: £18,200
