The Church of the Good Shepherd, Crookhorn, is a thriving and friendly charismatic Anglican church passionate about serving its community. We are serious about our commitment to young people and offer well established youth and children’s ministries with the scope to grow.
We aim to build positive relationships with children and young people that foster faith development and character transformation.
Hours: 20 hours (part time), shared between daytime and evening as necessary, including Sunday mornings.
Salary: £13,520 (pro-rata), £25,350 (full-time equivalent), plus agreed expenses for office.

Role:
We seek a fun, reliable individual with good team skills to serve as our Children & Youth Co-ordinator.
The successful candidate will think creatively about engaging with youth and children, identifying and developing mission opportunities. They will provide leadership, inspiration, and support for volunteers in toddlers, children’s, and youth groups at CoGS, and participate actively in ministry within these groups as needed. The Children and Youth Co-ordinator will be a key member of the staff team, liaising with clergy, the parish administrator, and wardens, and attending staff and PCC meetings as required.
CoGS runs toddler groups, Kids and Youth groups, and a community café, which serve as vital links with the local community. Our ministries focus on placing children and young people at the heart of church life, both during the week and on Sundays.
