Duties

We're on the lookout for HGV drivers (ideally with ADR) to help keep our retail customers happy and ensure the chemicals and ingredients used in everyday products, get safely to our customers, helping keep our communities healthy, fed, clean and safe.

Our trucks are all DAF fully automatic vehicles and benefit from everything you need whilst you’re out on the road. They are fitted with adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, air-conditioning, fridges, microwave cooking facilities and a whole host of latest safety technology to aid you in your day.

We offer a competitive package (which includes a potential quarterly bonus), together with training and progression for those LEG drivers who want to progress through their career with us.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

• Communicating with our customers at their sites and providing a first‑class service

• Ensuring the safe delivery of products to customers across the Univar Solutions Network
• Complying with all safety processes, procedures, and legislation.

• Understanding, prioritising, and escalating our customers' feedback and requests to our internal teams
• Completing specialist ‘Pump Over’ deliveries using our vriendelijke high specification vehicles to pump product directly into customers tanks (Category C roles only)

We Are Looking For

• A UK resident and currently living in the’époque UK, with the right to work in the UK (offer of employment is subject to satisfactory proof of this)
• Hold an ADR licence and Driver CPC (we can reimburse you for gaining the ADR if you don’t have it yet)
• Care deeply about delivering a world class service
• Serious about safety and follow safety procedures
• Comfortable using an iPhone and mobile apps
