We’re B-Corp certified with an amazing product-market fit, impressive early traction and the potential to transform an outdated industry, for the better. We've been growing fast and will scale even faster over the next few years.
We’re also proud to be part of Octopus, the £multi billion group that's on a mission to breathe new life into broken industries, through companies like Octopus Energy, Octopus Investments and Octopus Money.

Seccl is growing fast – and so is the demand for clear, actionable insight. While our Data engineering team has built a strong foundation for reliable, scalable data delivery, we’re now looking to use that foundation to guide data-driven decision-making for our internal customers and external clients.
To deliver on that goal, we’re establishing a brand-new Data analytics squad: a central team dedicated to making Seccl’s data usable, accessible, and impactful across the entire business.
As a Data analyst in this new function, you’ll play a pivotal role in enabling every team – from Transfer and Financial Crime to Finance and Product – to access trusted insights when they need them.
Your mission: turn data into decisions, accelerate response times, and empower the business to make fast, confident, data driven choices.
• Modelling and shaping datasets to ensure they are clear, well structured, and easy for teams to use.
• Building and maintaining dashboards and reports that provide stakeholders with clear, actionable insights.
• Responding to ad hoc analytical requests that unlock key decisions – whether it’s analysing transfer timelines, onboarding bottlenecks, product performance, or forecasting needs.
• Support with exploratory and diagnostic analysis to surface trends, root causes, risks, and opportunities before they impact the business
• Collaborating with Product managers, Engineers, Operations, and customer-facing teams to validate requirements, clarify edge cases, and ensure data is used to inform decisions.
• Acting as a data champion, helping teams improve how they use and interpret data, and ensuring measurement practices are consistent.
• Have strong analytical skills – you are great with SQL, DBT, Python, and Looker. You can work with large, complex datasets, identify trends, and translate them into actionable insights.
• Can model and transform data in a way that simplifies complexity and improves usability.
• Are comfortable working in Looker (or a similar BI tool) and can build intuitive, impactful dashboards.
• Thrive in cross-functional collaboration – you work effectively with product managers, engineers, operations, and client-facing teams, navigating trade-offs and aligning perspectives to deliver insights.
• Communicate clearly and effectively – you can translate complex data and analysis into clear, actionable messages for technical and non-technical audiences alike.
• Champion data and measurement – you actively help teams improve how they use, interpret, and act on data, ensuring consistent metrics and evidence-based decision-making across the tribe.
• Take ownership – you deliver insights, drive small projects to completion, and ensure your work has a visible impact on product decisions and outcomes.
