Job description

Heidi – Greater Bristol Area, United Kingdom

Heidi was born to make it easy for more and more people to discover the power of the mountains. We burst onto the ski holiday market in 2018 (formally known as Ski Zoom) and have seen exponential growth.

The company came from a desire to fix the lack of flexibility in the winter ski market. We help skiers and mountain lovers discover resorts that are hidden gems alongside the classics, and our clever tech is helping them to do it in a way that suits them best. We’re a youthful, challenger brand, with an awesome culture, and we’re shaking up a very traditional ski/mountain holiday industry.

Looking to the future, we have huge ambitions for growth. In 2024 we grew by 64% and expect to grow even more in 2025. Having come 63rd in the Times top 100 fastest growing UK companies, and shortly after securing £5 million investment, we are in a prime position to achieve our goals. But key to that is also growing the Heidi team with even more brilliant people than we have now. So we are looking for someone who will be fundamental to the success of our vision and is excited to help us drive that forward.

Our Supply Team

We are recruiting for an Italian and Spanish speaking Commercial Manager to join our Supply team, who are primarily UK-based. This is an exciting and challenging role within a high-tech, creative, and fast-paced setting. If you are a commercial and culture-driven individual, with a passion for mountain tourism in Italy, Andorra and Spain.

You will ensure that the destinations and suppliers you are responsible for exceed our ambitious sales targets whilst maximising profitability and building strong business relationships. You will become our in-house destination expert , always looking for new ways to improve our offering and drive incremental revenue.

You will work with many internal teams and departments, including Marketing, Tech, Product, Sales, Customer Support, Operations, and Finance to perform your responsibilities.

What you’ll be doing
  • Contracting and onboarding new partners that will contribute to increased profitability and a better customer experience.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity
  • Analysing data to identify top-selling properties and booking themes.
  • Using your network to identify new property openings/refurbs and ski resort investments (e.g. new ski lifts and resort facilities) that will generate sales growth.
  • Negotiating commercial terms with your partners and negotiating discounts/deals for specific campaigns.
  • Account Management of existing partners.
  • Attending trade shows and going on business trips that will result in increased learning and profitability.
  • Working with all internal stakeholders to ensure the onboarding and day-to-day performance of your suppliers is pain-free and profitable.
  • Assist marketing with content for landing pages, blogs and newsletters.
  • Being 100% accountable for the performance of your destination and suppliers.

This is a role that requires strategic thinking, whilst being hands‑on in the execution of our plans.

What we’re looking for from you
  • A strong commercial mindset and experience negotiating contracts, closing deals, and building strategic partnerships with hotels are essential.
  • Ability to conduct business meetings and negotiations in Italian and Spanish and a willingness to meet our partners face to face.
  • Strong understanding of the winter tourism landscape, online travel industry, and hotel distribution, including channel management and revenue optimisation strategies.
  • A start‑up mindset with the ability to independently grow your own destinations and hit ambitious targets. Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment and quickly address and resolve issues.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent accuracy and attention to detail. Experience using Excel and other BI tools to organise and analyse data.
  • Conversational Spanish would be a bonus as you will be negotiating contracts in Spain and Andorra.

You’ll be reporting to Maria, our Lead Commercial Manager.
